  Two guys from Manchester who met at the same History course at the University and after a while became one of the most respected and emulated music factory of dance panorama. Started clubbing in 1990 riding the Balearic style, brought from Ibiza in the mid 80s, melting italian disco with house grooves and jazz-hiphop stuff. In 1991 they were Djing in Naked Under Leather club in Manchester during their weekend and hardly could think about their project could had ever taken off. They took the name of Dust Brothers and got a little fame in Manchester nearbys and produced their first single called “Song To The Siren” which got quite a good success. Soon the single reached big Djs ears and found their interest until they get it on their labels allowing the pair making an EP “14th Century Sky”. That got them remix demands by Prodigy, Primal Scream and Charlatans who really contributed to their fame. In the meanwhile they got residency at Heavenly Sunday Social club in London and became one of the hottest event in the whole GB and Europe. And a huge name became one of their biggest fan: Noel Gallagher from Oasis. Their first album “Exit Planet” was so good to him that he allow them recording his voice for future single “Setting Sun”. In 1996 the single reached the top of charts na dbecome one of the most popular songs of the 90s. Their second album “Dig Your Own Hole” camped at the first charts place for months in 1997 and got a great success in the USA too and went gold, which is such a rare privilege for a Dj nowadays. In 1999 their third work-mastersaw the lights and fit like a glove their increasing fame, providing always new sounds and a way to face music and musical culture which is still unique. After a big greak they took to follow separate ways, the chemical duo really shaked musical ground with their fourth album “Push The Button” featuring such astonishing music, even critics from other musical genres, had to bow their head to this masterpiece of genial tunes, perfectly built-up into 2000s sound! Their style swinging from industrial to Old-Skool Djing, really conquered the audiences creating songs always so clever and self-humourous, they really became an icon of electro-music and built a bridge between late 90s and the new Century.
