Two guys from Manchester who met at the same History course at the University and after a while became one of the most respected and emulated music factory of dance panorama. Started clubbing in 1990 riding the Balearic style, brought from Ibiza in the mid 80s, melting italian disco with house grooves and jazz-hiphop stuff. Maybe one of the most innovative Trance artists, remarkable for his “Progressive Trance” way of face music and djing itself, Sasha was born at a piano player in Wales. At 17 he was the only Dj to bring his own records to gay club Broad in Paris, astonishing the crowd who soon found in him the talent of a legendary Dj. Maybe one of the creators of Trance Music, like we know it, gave life to his first master-piece at 19! a Dutch guy, grew up in a music-family, having breakfast with electronic vibes and getting to bed listening to punk-rock.
He love to remember hiself as a nerdy child, spending his time in buying and listeing to records and learning how to make music with “machines”. He was raised to cult status all around the world since the release on the market of Summerbreeze in 2000, a mixed album which included his own remix of Delerium featuring Sarah McLachlan’s – “Silence”, which became a massive club hit peaking the Billboard Dance Chart at number 3 (USA) and staying for 8 weeks in the top ten UK chart.
